 Thanks for stopping by!

I'm a cheerleader for all things related to handwritten letters.

Though my jobs have varied since leaving full-time teaching middle school science, one thing has stayed constant throughout my life: writing handwritten letters.

In a world glued to screens, I created my guided journals—A Letter a Week (published January 2022) and my newest, A Letter a Week During the School Year—to help people unplug, write from the heart, and connect with what matters.

A huge thank you to all the friends, educators, parents, and homeschool families who have supported this small step in keeping handwritten letters alive. You're not just teaching writing—you're teaching connection, and that matters more than ever.

I'm not on here much—Instagram is where I hang out most—but I'd love to hear from you! If you watched my TEDx Talk or grabbed one of my books, write to me at the address below. (Of course!)

Happy writing, Julie

I'd prefer a handwritten letter, of course, but I know sometimes you need a quick answer! Drop me a message below or send me an email if you have feedback about the journal book, want to inquire about quantity discounts for schools or organizations, or are interested in having me speak at your school, homeschool co-op, or community group. I look forward to connecting with you, however you choose to reach out.
